This policy explains how Smaller Portions ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use smallerportions.co.uk. The site is run by Harlon Haveland in the UK, who is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- When you email us: your email address, name (if you give it) and your message. We use it only to reply, and delete it when it's no longer needed (normally within 12 months).
- Contact form: the form isn't active yet. If we switch it on we'll update this page first.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
- Analytics: we don't currently use analytics or advertising trackers. If we add any, we'll update this policy and our cookie policy, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link (labelled "#ad / affiliate") you leave our site. The retailer or network, such as Amazon or Awin, may set its own cookies to record that you came from us. Their privacy policies apply to that data.
Lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests to reply to messages and keep the site secure.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
