About Smaller Portions
Smaller Portions is a UK food and lifestyle site for people who eat less than they used to, and for anyone who'd rather have a small plate they can finish than a big one they can't.
What we do
- Recipes for one or two, in small portions, each with the approximate protein per serving.
- Guides to protein, fibre, ready meals, packed lunches and the kit that makes small portions easier.
- News: a regular roundup of what's happening in UK shops and restaurants, plus a separate Health news section. We summarise and link to the original reporting. We don't turn news into advice.
What we don't do
- We don't give medical, nutritional or dietary advice. We're not doctors or dietitians. If you have a health condition or take any medicine, speak to your GP, pharmacist or prescriber.
- We don't set personal calorie targets or promote dieting.
- We don't make health claims beyond the wording allowed under GB nutrition and health claims rules.
Who's behind it
Smaller Portions is run by Harlon Haveland in the UK. The site is written for adults aged 18 and over.
